Former Tutor of Kennedy Nephews to Testify in Murder Case
(AP) _ The former tutor for two Kennedy nephews will testify about an
unsolved 1975 murder of a Greenwich teen. Kenneth Littleton, a one-time
suspect in the beating death of 15-year-old Martha Moxley, won't be
prosecuted for the crime in exchange for his testimony, lawyers said
today. Littleton was a 22-year-old live-in tutor to the Skakel family,
who were neighbors of the Moxleys. Rushton Skakel is the brother of
Ethel Kennedy, U.S. Sen. Robert F. Kennedy's widow. Littleton and two
of the Skakel children _ Thomas, then 17, and Michael, then 15 _ were
all identified as suspects in Moxley's October 30, 1975 beating death.
Authorities over the years have shifted their focus away from Littleton
and toward the Skakel brothers. Littleton and the Skakels have consistently
denied any involvement in the killing.
